Zen's experienced staff members teach you how to use free weights, physio-balls, multi-hip machine, wobble boards, treadmill, recumbent bike, stretching, etc., and will create custom rehab exercise plans that are designed to re-educated your muscles to perform again correctly, which truely is the most important part of your treatment plan as a patient.  The programs we teach patients as part of their rehabilitation exercise plan can easliy be used in their weekly exercises at the gym or at home.  We help the patient understand why they are performing certain exercises and we make it fun!  Exercises that we show the patient should be performed even after the patient has been released from care to maintain good health.  

Our staff exercise experts work with the patients to show them how to use their body correctly and effectively in every action they perform. This includes weight training, cardiovascular exercise, diet and lifestyle changes. Dr. Marian frequently uses exercising to make progress in rehabilitation, weight loss, posture, and general fitness which ultimately improves the overall health of her patients.

After the patient has been released from care and If they are interested in a higher level of an exercise plan beyond what is utilized in their rehabilitation exerises at this clinic for their diagnosed complaint; they can self-pay for the listed services below:

Personal Training One on One Session w/ Dr. Marian


Dr. Marian believes that weight lifting promotes good health. For the past 20 years she has been involved in weight training recreationally, and now recently competing at a national level trying to obtain her pro card in Women’s Physique. Weight lifting is especially important for women to help maintain and increase their bone mass to prevent osteoporosis.  In the past, Dr. Marian worked as a  personal trainer while in college at the following: Powerhouse Gym in Lombard, Illinois; Lakeshore Athletic Club in Chicago, Illinois; and private in home personal training.

On May 7,2016, Dr. Marian won 1st place in Women’s Physique at the Illinois State Bodybuilding and Physique Championships which qualifies her to compete nationally for the next year. Winning of a national level event would allow her to become IFBB Physique Pro.

On June 18, 2016, Dr. Marian won 6th place in Women’s Physique at the Jr. Nationals (national level competition) in Chicago, IL. In 2017, Dr. Marian again plans to compete nationally to obtain her IFBB Physique professional status.

Zen Staff & Dr. Marian live and breathe exercise because, it is awesome and so healthy!  We will make patients love to exercise or at least try very hard.  ;)
